AN EXHIBITION ABOUT REPAIR

A chair,
taken apart.

The exhibition has six objects. Pick two to four of them and download your own route.

See what holds it together

MATERIALS

Seat, back
and the joints between.

Scroll through this section or use the disassembly slider. These are not assembly instructions.

01 / Seat
A wooden segment gives the whole a clear horizontal.
02 / Back
A separate frame shows where one part ends and the next begins.
03 / Joints
A contrasting colour marks the joint that can be replaced.

This is not proof of durability, recyclability or any other environmental property.

REPAIR

Swap one joint
and the chair stays whole.

The "Show the repair" button swaps one marked joint of the chair. The object keeps its silhouette, and the caption names the actual change in the scene.

The other five objects work the same way: one part changes while the shape stays.
