Collection

Three pieces,
one line of light.

Each piece is built around a single stone. The metal stays thin so the light has room.

Drawn to the demonstration stone’s proportions: table 56%, crown 16%, pavilion 43% of the diameter.

Craft

Fifty-seven planes.

Light enters through the table, bounces off the pavilion and returns through the crown. An angle off by a single degree cuts that journey short.

57facets in one stone

  1. 01

    Selection

The stone is judged in daylight, before anything is measured.

  2. 02

    Cutting

Crown and pavilion are matched to each other, never cut alone.

  3. 03

    Setting

Six claws hold the stone and barely cover the girdle.

  4. 04

    Polishing

The last step gives the metal a satin sheen, not a mirror.
